What ages of children does the center serve?
We have programs for children ages two through twelve.
What hours is the center open?
We are open 6:45 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Do children have to be potty trained to attend?
No. We will work with you and your child, keeping in mind the developmental level of each individual child.
Some centers have very high staff turn-over rates. How is the rate at The Caring Center?
Our staff turn-over rate tends to be lower than many other centers. We have a number of staff who been with us for as many as 20 years!
Is there after school transportation for school-age children?
We are located directly across the street from Sugar Creek and New Century elementary schools. Children from those schools walk to The Caring Center .Bus service is provided by our center for children who attend Country View or Core Knowledge elementary schools.
Can school-age children attend on non-school days?
We offer full day programming for school-agers over school breaks and during the summer.
Is there outdoor play space for my child?
The Caring Center has well-shaded, separate playgrounds for two year olds, preschoolers, and school-agers.
How long has The Caring Center been in existence?
The Caring Center opened in 1972 and has remained under the same family ownership since that time.
What are the maximum class sizes?
2-3 year old full day preschool maximum 12 children (2 staff)
3-4 year old full day preschool maximum 16 children (2 staff)
4-5 year old full day preschool maximum 24 children (2 staff)
3-4 year old part day preschool maximum 16 children (2 staff)
4-5 year old part day preschool maximum 18 children (2 staff)
K-1 class maximum 31 children (2-3 staff)
School-age (grade 2 and above) maximum 54 children (3-5 staff)
