Our Programs

The Caring Center offers a wide variety of full and part-time programs to meet the needs of our families. Whether you are looking for an educational preschool program, or quality programming for your school-age child, The Caring Center invites you to explore the choices we offer. Full-Day/Part Day Preschool

Full day sessions are offered for children from ages two through five. Children may register for 2-5 days per week. Children are offered a wide range of developmentally appropriate activities which meet their needs for both physical play and intellectual and social development. Full day classes are available both during the school year and over the summer - families may register for either or both of those options. In addition, we offer a limited number of spaces in these classes for morning only students. The focus of these classes is to develop positive social and academic skills to better prepare children for early success when they enter the elementary school system.


School-Age Classes

The Caring Center school-age programs are unique in that we separate into two individual programs - kindergarten/first grade children meet in one group, while our older children in grades two and above meet in another. This allows us to target activities more specifically to the ages involved, and creates a more nurturing environment for the younger school-ager who may be less comfortable with children who are substantially older.

Activities for both groups include games, sports, books, arts and crafts, computers, special interest "clubs", field trips, and outdoor play opportunities. The older school-age group also features a "homework club" where children receive assistance with study skills and daily homework assignments. During the summer and school holidays, these school-age programs meet for full days.

Programming is also available for before school care, including the Verona School District's Late Start Mondays.
